Discover Morocco’s spectacular landscapes and captivating culture on a solo adventure of a lifetime

Hi! 👋 I’m Malika, a Morocco solo travel expert and long-time explorer of this spectacular country.

My journey with Morocco began in 2014 on a solo adventure that quickly turned into something far more life-changing. I (accidentally) fell in love with a local and settled in a small surf village on the Atlantic coast, making Morocco my new home.

Over the past decade, I’ve travelled this country extensively, from the dramatic peaks and valleys of the Atlas Mountains to the winding alleyways of ancient medinas. Despite being married to a Moroccan, I’m a big proponent of solo travel and the majority of my adventures are independent ones. There’s just something about solo travel that I absolutely love!

Solo Travel Morocco is where I share these experiences and insights. It’s a space dedicated to helping solo travellers (especially women) experience Morocco confidently, safely and while supporting local communities. Whether you’re planning your first solo trip or seeking authentic cultural encounters beyond the usual tourist paths, you’ll find practical guidance here alongside real, on-the-ground perspective.
